Nexus Climbing School

We are the only climbing school in Southwest Michigan offering

INDOOR CLIMBING, BOULDERING, CAVING AND OUTDOOR EXPERIENCES!

What we are:

Our mission is to introduce youth to rock climbing. We primarily do this through the homeschool partnerships. We also offer a limited amount of climbing to the local community through open climbs, classes and other exclusive events.

E-mail nexusclimbing@gmail.com if you’re wondering how to get involved with our rock climbing program and to find out how this sport can have a positive impact on your life. Confidence, balance, strength, problem solving, and cardio improvement are only a few benefits of climbing.

Why rock climbing?

Gain Confidence

Rock climbing is a great way to gain confidence with physical and mental abilities. Climbing requires problem solving and body movements unlike any other sports.

Get Stronger

Rock climbing is a great exercise and a full body workout. You'll learn balance and technique, while building strength in your upper and lower body and core.

Problem Solve

Rock climbing routes use applied math. You mentally solve the problem of completing the route, then use your body to test each solution formulated in your mind.

Screen Time Alternative

Did you know that most people spend more than 3 hours per day in front of screens, whether it be a phone, tablet or video game? This has become the worst addiction in our society since cigarettes. We need more physical, real life socialization and fewer digital interactions.
